Hi there! My name is Emery and I am a RN who has been practicing for over a year now! I currently work in the Neuro ICU at Anmed Health in Anderson SC. I let my Christian faith guide me in my practice to give compassionate care to all of my patients.

My personal nursing philosophy is grounded in the principles outlined by the American Nurses Association (ANA) Code of Ethics, the holistic framework of Fawcett and DeSanto-Madeya, Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, and my Christian faith. These foundational elements guide my commitment to delivering care that is compassionate, dignified, individualized, and empathetic. When we define nursing, we’re referring to more than just the basic care nurses provide, we're exploring a comprehensive framework of nursing theories that influence all areas of practice (andel, 2023). I believe that nursing is not just a profession but a calling to serve others in a way that honors the humanity and uniqueness of every individual.

Work Experience Anmed Health Neuro ICU and Telemetry Unit June 2024- Current Registered Nurse •I admitted and discharged patients, assessed, medicated, and worked with doctors to create a care plan for the patients •I titrated drips, worked with arterial lines, cared for ventilated, and trach collar patients. •Our unit specializes in neurological issues, such as strokes, traumatic brain injuries, seizures, etc.
